For this reason, the availability is limited. New SI Simbolo jewelry is sold exclusively by official SI Simbolo points of sale. However, they are delivered regularly and independently manage the allocation and sales to their customers.


Silver 925

Pure silver is naturally too soft to process into an SI Simbolo. To make the silver harder, other metals such as copper are mixed. This creates a silver alloy. The amount of pure silver present in an alloy determines the silver content of a piece of jewelry. This is expressed in thousandths.

For the SI Simbolo Silver Line, we use first-grade silver (925 thousandths), 92.5% silver, and 7.5% of other metals.


Living Silver through Oxidation

Silver discolors due to oxidation. This chemical reaction occurs when silver comes into contact with hydrogen sulfide. The gas hydrogen sulfide is found everywhere in the air and creates a thin black layer on your silver SI Simbolo.

Oxidation is a natural process and is not harmful to the silver. Oxidation occurs in all silver, including products made from first-grade silver. Your SI Simbolo is designed for long-term and intensive use, including sleeping and exercising. However, untreated silver you use will eventually show scratches and become even more living.
